Shasta McManus

Shasta has been with the Pima County Democratic Party (PCDP) for over 4 years. From her years as successful Finance Director to becoming the Executive Director in June of 2013, Shasta has been a hardworking presence for Pima County Democrats. Previous to working at the PCDP, Shasta worked on the campaign of Vince Rabago for Attorney General and was the Southern Arizona Director for the 2008 Primary campaign for President Barack Obama. Before making the smart move to Arizona, Shasta focused heavily on women’s and LGBT rights in her home-state of Texas and lived and worked internationally with Democrats Abroad to increase voter participation among American Military and expatriates living abroad. Committed to civil rights, and social action, Shasta has been an amazing asset in keeping Tucson bright blue – and she is the mother of an amazing young man as well. Thank you Shasta!
