For over fifteen years, Triné has built her career working in, and around, education. She began by helping youth within the foster care and juvenile justice systems to obtain job skills training in preparation for them to enter the workforce. Since that time, her understanding of the integral relationship between education and community involvement has only grown through her work as a curriculum manager. Triné understands that by providing supportive educational environments to our youth, we build a foundation that allows for the development of skills that will serve students and their community well beyond high school.
As a mother of two children, Triné has served in a variety of roles within the Kyrene district including two years as a member of the Kyrene Superintendent Community Council. Through her community involvement, Triné has seen the high standard of excellence that Kyrene strives to provide each student.
Triné believes that schools are the cornerstone of a community and is deeply committed to the continued success of Kyrene schools. As a governing board member, she will serve the community by collaborating with parents, educators, administration, and community members to find solutions that best meet the needs of our children.
