Rev. Quanta Crews is a Inkster, Michigan native, home of the Motown Marvelettes. She moved to Phoenix to attend Grand Canyon University in 2005. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Behavioral Science. She has served in various positions in local government and her journey has made her well versed in property taxes and their impact on school finance. She has made it her mission to build a legacy of advocating for marginalized people and educating others on equity.
She was ordained a Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 2012, and she currently serves as coordinator of the No Limits Special Needs Ministry at Tanner Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Phoenix. She is an ad valorem real and personal property appraiser with the State of Arizona. She previously worked as an appraiser with the Maricopa County Assessor’s Office. An Assessment Administration Designation Candidate, she currently serves as the Uniform Standards of Property Appraisal Practice Committee Chair of the International Association of Assessment Officers. Quanta is passionate about the healing of our community and developing space for the voice of the marginalized to be heard.
