Running for Liberty Elementary School Board
Paul is the first transgender woman to hold elected office in Arizona. As a product of Arizona’s public school system, she graduated from East Phoenix High School. She served in the US Navy and Marine Corps before earning a Bachelor of Science in Education at Arizona State University. Later, she received a Master of Education in Guidance Counseling. Paul spent thirty years in public education, serving as a classroom teacher, counselor, coach, and central office administrator. She retired in 2009. In 2020, Paul ran for and won a seat on the Liberty Elementary School District Governing Board.
