Jennifer Jermaine is a small business consultant and co-founder of Stronger Together Arizona, a nonprofit promoting progressive change in Arizona in the areas of civil rights, quality education, affordable healthcare and environmental protection. As Executive Director of Stronger Together Arizona, Jennifer created the We the People Summit, which has so far trained 2,500 new activists in the tools and techniques of community organizing.
Jennifer attended San Diego State University and is a graduate of ASU, where she earned her Masters in Public Administration. She has spent most of career helping others in the nonprofit and social services sector. Jennifer has advocated for progressive issues at all levels of government, including public health, elder care, women’s rights and education. After watching her representative pay more attention to her phone than to parents’ testimony during a House Education Committee hearing, she decided to run for office.
As a State Representative Jennifer has been committed to restoring education funding for Arizona schools and ensuring disability civil rights. She worked tirelessly to pass a bill that created an investigative committee for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.
Jennifer lives in Chandler with her husband and daughter.
