Jamie Whelan is a professor of education and a leader in the LGBT community at Northern Arizona University. She is running for City Council to give Flagstaff citizens a strong voice on the City Council protecting community character, neighborhoods and open space, insisting on honesty, inclusion and transparency in all city business while advocating for economic development that creates good paying jobs and builds a sustainable future for all Flagstaff.
